Ok, so I finally got to do a little hunting again. Have my first real creek find, which is right below one of the rock overhangs where I have had success in the past. Then, today, I checked in on one of my cliff cave/ overhangs after all the rain. Boom, first bucket sifted produces a nice little brown point in pretty much perfect condition Made my day! Found so decent chert chunks and chips also. Glad to get back out finally and have some success. Thanks for looking , insight appreciated as always !

Anybody want to guess as far as an ID on either of these...the wide base on the little brown one is different from the mostly stemmed points I’ve found around here. Thanks for looking

My guess is Flint Creek for the one on the screen. Whatever it is, it’s beautiful!

Nice point. Thanks for sharing!

Couple more pics ...thanks for kind responses...I’m thinking maybe Damron or maybe Brewerton type. Spent a couple hours looking to ID, haven’t found anything exactly right yet

Fine looking little point!

Pretty. Looks like Ridge-&-Valley chert (?)

I am not sure as to what type chert. Find mostly tans and browns with red bands out here. I’m pretty close to Carter Caves, so it may be variance of that. I know lots of trading was taking place back then, so it doesn’t necessarily have to have been mined right here. I bet it was though, find lots of the dark brown chips and chunks of chert here. Thanks
