Haven't had much luck lately but went to our hunting club yesterday to work on the old cabin some and went on me a little walk before dark and found this nice point and what im guessing is the rattlers that a hawk or owl left behind.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/59ffe4a96770a/IMG_20171105_221750.jpg?

Great point, sure looks nice next to the rattle!! Nice material!! I always wonder at what size they did they use them as spears?

Please keep the rattlers in your area.

Nice find looks pretty sharp still , that rattle is really cool whenever we take any trips south I'm always looking for a dead one in the road to get the rattle

I dont kill many and they seem to be doing good this year. But I didn't kill this one, spotted the bones then the rattles..... Had to be a hawk or owl that ate it..... Would have been cool to see happen

Sweet little point there and Im happy to say I havent seen any poisonous snakes this year. I still wear my boots anyways just in case. You need to go to the cabin more often.

First time I ever really looked for anything there.... It's definitely different terrain, no quartz anywhere, so it's harder to spot but we got 600 acres there to search hopefully this winter I will find the sweet spots

What is the material of that point? Looks like quartz to me has some nice stripes in it.

After finding that rattle I'd be so paranoid I'd have to call it a day.

Its some type of chert rock I believe but has some good color in it might have been fire treated

I promise you it changed my mindset for the day, just cause its getting cooler don't mean there aint no snakes and there could've been more rattles than that on it
