Hi gang

I haven't posted in a while so I have an accumulation of finds. The first picture is an accumulation of two or three hunts...not real productive spots. The pendant I believe is fake but it was exciting to see those stones sparkling in the dirt when I dug it up!. One of the spots I detected was a hunting camp out in the woods. The guys that hunt there have no conception of cleanliness...the whole area was full of trash! I didn't find a lot of money because they spent it all on bullets...I must have found 100 bullets and at least that many shell casings...most of them rang up as 5 cents. Didn't expect to find a Mexican coin, but there it is.

The second picture is from today's hunt. There is one nickel missing, it was hiding in my pouch with a quarter and a dime, they were all too bashful to have their picture taken :P In case you are wondering there are 72 pennies there.

The third picture shows the odd coins found today. Imagine my disappointment when my M6 told me I was digging for a quarter and I pulled out the silver dollar! The wheat is the first one I've found since beginning MD in March. The Canadian centennial penney was a surprise and I don't know who was carrying around the Cayman Islands penny.

The next picture is the quarters and dimes (minus one of each which were hiding in the pouch with the nickel).

The last picture contains the junk jewelry for today. The first ring I believe is brass. The second one I don't think is real...it has no markings at all...I did search the dirt for the missing stone to no avail! The last ring may be a class ring but is so beat up you can't read the writing on it and it doesn't give any karat indication anywhere. The big ugly necklace says its 10k Italy. The little chain I think is fake and of course the two chrome items are costume jewelry. All in all it was a fun day. I visited 10 tot lots and parks today in a city 75 miles from where I live. My grandson went with me to the last two lots.

Congrats. Those are a whole lot of great finds.

The ring on the upper right looks like a class ring. Not to many fake those. I'd check the specific gravity to see if it might be white gold or silver. Both men's rings, I presume. Can anyone tell me if many men wear costume rings? Just wondering because I found one a while back that was plated as well.

BTW, I don't think I'd call anything 10K as junk! LOL. ;)

Great group of kinds! And though I hate to rain on your parade a bit, the Ike Dollar you found is not silver. Only the 1972-S was silver. Still a great find though, you don't see many Ikes coming out the ground.

Cheers!

Nice assortment of finds. Congrats on the gold!!
Yes, that gold chain is beat up and ugly so you should send it to me immediately ...lol ;D
Keep the great finds coming, best of luck!

Smiles!
