AT LAST - I finally found my first Barber coins!

I went for an early hunt this morning to try to beat the heat, and on the second signal I dug, these two beauties came out of the same hole - an 1897 Barber Quarter and 1905 Barber Dime!

My hunt got cut short soon after because landscape guys had to mow the lawn, but I didn't mind since it was getting hot and I already found my treasure. I'll definitely be back at that spot for another try tomorrow morning.

I've found other silver coins over the years, but for some reason Barbers have always eluded me - I'm pretty stoked to get two at once. It seems like they're found fairly often, and I'm happy to finally be in the club.

Thanks for looking - HH!

Congrats on the Barbers! I am still waiting to join the Barber Club. I submit my application every chance I get, but have yet to be accepted. Someday.......

Those coins are absolutely beautiful! I'll have to find some new places to hunt if I'm ever going to find anything like that. Congrats and nice work!

Nice!! You got your first Barber, second Barber AND first Barber spill! Congrats, great looking coins...Ddf.

Keep trying - yours are out there somewhere, waiting for you to find them. All it takes is one good spot. It took me six years and over 300 hunts before I found mine. Good luck!
