Finally found a 2 cent piece and also the largest silver ring I've ever found

Now this is what I call an after work hunt. Had 30 minutes to detect and went to a permission I've pulled a lot of goodies from. First target was a Chicago cincinnati railroad tag (I think?) I thought the ring was a clad quarter on the surface. It looks like some navajo jewelry that I've dug before and has no hallmarks. Any ideas? The 1907 like all Indians in this yard is beautiful. And finally found an 1865 2 center that really made my day. It looks like it may have been in a road but is beautiful all the same.

Absolutely incredible. When it rains it pours and it appears that you made it pour!!...Brad

Very Nice Finds Indeed ! I would love to see more of the ring (close ups ) You are correct in that it is based upon Navajo cliche's
the crossed arrows ,the stylized thunderbird - the horse shoe motif is different in this context ! - kinda cowboy + indian .
you had a very good day out !

Thats great for a short hunt :occasion14:, good spots are hard to find out here :BangHead: maybe they have to be made, by digging all the trash out first in order to get good things later :laughing7:

Here are some close up pics. The inside of the band is slick with no markings
