Out on a farm field hunt Thursday morning with a friend. Both of us digging plenty of junk. He scores an 1845 large cent. About 15 minutes later, close to the road (where a ton of aluminum cans/modern trash resides) get a smooth high tone with the Deus. From about 3-4 inches down, out pops an 1875 Philadelphia minted Seated Liberty dime! image.png

Awesome! I'm still waiting for my first seated. I was thinking of taking dancing lessons so i could be ready for the occasion when my first seated pops out of the ground.:occasion14:

Dancing lessons would be helpful!

Aww! Im so jealous I don't have a seated either. I'm in Southern Indiana and haven't found to many properties quite old enough I think...

I've got 3 properties I'm going to try to get permission on and they are all built late 1800's.

Awesome Find!

Congrats on your first seated, I found my seated dime last month and it's at the jewelers making a ring to put seated dime in

Congrats! Nice looking Seated!

Congratulations on a Beautiful First!:occasion14::headbang::hello2:

pretty awesome, congrats. my only seated is a dime as well, last year minted

Lots of detail left on that beauty. Great find. Congrats!

Big Congrats on your first Seated- hope there's a lot more in store for you!
