Finally finished digging out the Civil War hut. Need some help.

My son and I finished digging on our latest hut and here are the results. The first picture is everything we found and the other two are the front and back of some items we can't figure out. The square transparent white glass piece has really got us stumped. It's measures about one square inch and has a brass attachment with a small wire coming out of it. Looks like the wire would have made a loop back into it, but is now broke. I hope you enjoy the finds and if anyone has a clue on the three items in the pics please let us know. Thanks.

That's what I thought at first, but after looking at a gazillion mouthpieces from the period (internet), none of them really matched.
