Saturday 6/27: OMG!!! I can't believe that I actually dug a half dime! My 1st one ever! Woohoo!! :icon_thumright:

The last I knew I had it in my hand to show the owners (friends) when they brought my daughter over on their horse, then I put it back into my pocket.

Then I pulled out my finds to show the land owner the other things before going home and it wasn't there. Never have I ever done that before. Lost a find. :cussing:

Well, you can bet I went back there this morning to surface check the area that I last had it out of my pocket... sure enough there it was staring up at me playing hide and seek in the grass. Whew!! I didn't know if I had a good chance of finding it a 2nd time or a good chance not finding it again. :dontknow:

I had md this old house a few years ago with my Garrett 550 and had dug a nice 1928 SLQ and some wheaties but knew that with my new Minelab that I needed to do it again. This weekend though not pictured here were two wheaties 1917 & 1953. One 1906 Indian Head cent in peroxide now, one flat button, one gilted Scoville button, and the tiny little silver half dime.

This was me finding it the 2nd time around -----> :blob5: Woohoo!

Nice seated. Glad you were able to find it again. They are so easy to loose. There must be so many of those in the ground as small as they are. Just waiting to be found. Congrats.
