Great condition on that capped bust! My friend dug one but it's pretty slick. Still eluding me.
 

Tried the small coil on the Equinox 800 & had a nice day in a small farm field. Also found my first capped bust.
I found one of those Capped Bust half dimes in a churchyard once, and when I dug it I thought it was that old aluminum play money ha ha ha

That's funny, I thought the same exact thing til I saw the stars!. I expected a darker tone after being in the ground so long. Thanks bud
 

Kinda looks like the "tallio" design with a fox. Hard to say from the pics.

See them pop up somewhat frequently.

Nice finds,. Capped Bust silver is not easy to find. The upper cufflink in the picture is definitely a running fox Tallio cufflink.
