Finally broke my drought

Well I've been out doing plenty of walking but not finding much during the very mild winter we have had finally yesterday I picked one up. Pretty happy with this one.

I think it's most likely a variety of " flint ridge" material. I can see why someone picked it up and made a tool out of it. Thanks for the replies as well.
