This will be my last hunt of 2022 and I spent my time at an old housing project I lived at in the 1950's. The project was opened in 1951 and people still live there today. I've dug silver coins there 15-20 years ago but have only dug small amounts of clad since then. Today's clad was typical....9 coins worth $1.02 but I got a nice repeatable reading of 90 on my AT Pro with a depth reading of 8 inches. When I removed the plug I could see the rim because this thing was on its side and I'm thinking silver quarter. Instead, it was a large size sterling religious medal depicting St. Christopher and Saint Raphael. It actually has more silver in it than a quarter......$5.90 at today's silver price, so I'm not complaining.

Nice score! There is no mistaking silver when it’s in the plug.
Beautiful piece! I think I’d rather have that pendant than a silver quarter.
Well done!

Thanks Kody.....this medal is bigger than any other religious medal I've ever dug.
