All of this was from about 90 min of digging. It's insane the amount of targets here. I was digging a solid tone every 12" I can't wait to get back again

Correct OD nickel lol...great finds man love that silver bell!

pitch a tent and bring lots of treats. y'all gonna be there a while:-). get back to us by new years' eve

Looks like a honey hole for sure..

I can't wait to get back. Never had a site that produced this crazy variety of finds this close together

Congrats on taking advantage of the situation. :occasion14: Sure wish I could find a button like that. Looks like you found a nice site.

Great finds. The poor spoon doesn't deserve the scrap bucket though! Haha

My first civil war era button. Shocked to find something like that in Pittsburgh. The back is totally gone though. Not many civil war relics in these parts

I just found out the house next door was built in 1850. So gotta do some door knocking!!

I am loving the perfume bottle and hellhound/gargoyle buckle.

If I am not mistaken that is a part for a sewing machine,,for sewing buttons on maybe not sure but have seen them in drawers of sewing machines before.

I got back to the honey hole yesterday and pulled another 5 wheats. And another broken sterling ring

Best part about yesterday's hunt was gained a new permission 2 doors away
County website says house was built in 1910. But after talking with the owner. More than likely built around 1850

Pic of the honey hole and new permission

Now I just need to secure permission for the huge house in between the 2. Another house built in 1850!!

Among your finds you will notice a brass key (the larger of the two).

If I read it correctly, it says "O&M RR".

This would be a key for the Ohio & Mississippi Railroad which came into existence in the 1850's and was gone by the 1890's.

Collectors of railroad material would be quite interested.

BTW... the key labeled 70 is probably also a railroad switch key, and may have a RR marking on the other side.

Those are some awesome finds man:headbang: great railroad stuff and neat little bell:occasion14: you can find CW stuff anywhere,I never thought I would anything in NH but I have. That's a great little bottle too:thumbsup:

Def, a Cool old site with a variety of time periods represented.
GL There & on the Next place & thx for Cleaning up a bit.

I got out to the new house 2 doors over.
Very surprised to not find one silver coin today. But did find a few wheats. A 1901 Indian head. Piece of a crotal bell. A salt shaker top (maybe silver). Need to test it

And this huge medal

It has George Washington on the front
And says president of the constitutional convention 1787. Very hard to make anything out on the back. I can't find any info on this medal. So not sure how old it really is???
