P.S.

Where's The Big Fish ? :D

Good pic snee. They all thought Dahmer was a goody-2-shoes also. ;D .....kidding. I have a sister in Sweet Springs, MO. They have 80 acres there so, when I go visit again, I'm taking the detector. I wonder if there is any Civil War stuff around their place. Jeff of pa, they don't have fish in Missouri, only have cows.

We have have fish....at least in the Ozarks we do. Mainly trout around here. There's a trout hatchery about a half hour or so away from where I live that has thousands of fish that they release into streams and such. I don't do much fishing, but they're out there...but yes. We have cows. But they're harder to reel in with a rod.

Hey Snee..................What's a "goody-two-shoes" ? ???

Nice to see ya Snee..........very nice photo! :D

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Nana? ;)

You know Nana, right after I posted that, I got to wondering...where did that idiom come from? And you know, I really have no clue! :D

Nice pic. Yeah, I used to love the Show Me trout-used to do a bit of fishing at Roaring River. What kinda bait you use for cows? ;D

I googled two shoes and got this:
It comes from the title of a rather twee and moralistic nursery tale called The History of Goody Two-Shoes, which is thought to have been written by Oliver Goldsmith, and which was published in 1765 by John Newbery, one of the earliest London publishers of children?s stories. Goody owned only one shoe. When she was given a pair of them, she was so pleased that she showed them to everybody, saying ?Two shoes?. The phrase now refers to a self-righteous, smugly virtuous person.

I was always under the impression that a "goody-2-shoes" was someone that always followed the rules and never got in trouble........or...............a butt kisser ;D

Well then! Now we know! "Cuz knoledge is power!" John Newberry--is he what the Newberry Awards are named after? I've heard the name Oliver Goldsmith...at least I think so. I'm with you, I always assumed it meant that you never got into trouble and was a nice little boy or girl. (I made it all the way from grade school and high school even and never had one detention!! BOOYAH!!! ;D)

;D We all have a first impression and mine of your pic is how very sweet you look! From all your posts, it seems to be true! Snee, are you trying to say lol you have morals? Thats a "Good Thing" ! ;D ;)

Nice to meet you BTW ! :D
