These won’t impress anybody, but I’m hoping the button means there is hope in this remote field.
First off, 2 pieces of orangish chert. For some reason this is my favorite, of the assorted colors, to find.
The button appears to be white glass or porcelain. It has a convex back.
This field is pretty remote. The button tells me:
1) lost by a farmer or hunter years ago
2) possible old dwelling sight was there at one time
3) possible old farm dump nearby
I’ll need to speak to owner. I have permission to visually hunt. I’m not sure about detecting and digging.🤞
