I'm working on getting pictures posted some kind of a way. I'm thinking of hauling my finds to have them scanned or whatever. Stay patience with me, ok?
Two different fields/pastures, both on the river, both have a ridge in them. Today, my husband (with my request) & under my strict supervision, rowed up the pasture. He went beyond my marked boundary line, if the trees were not there I think he would have rowed up the river. LOL Men & the giant toys...
I started searching for arrowheads & managed to find one & a few chips, I need a rain 1st. He then headed out to the other pasture to where I have been MDing on the logging trail (this is where I found the oxen bell thingie) when he came back I told him he probably cut all the metal things in half.
I later headed to the other field and started just looking around, lo & behold what I find? Another perfect arrowhead, only this thing is not made with the same stone as all the other finds. It is grayish in color & has some sparkle stuff in it. It looks much older & different than the Paleo I already have.
Yesterday, I found something different, to me it looks like a very old part of a conch shell. Very white looking, husband states it looks like part of a skull. Sure thing!! I sure hope it's horse or cow & not human.
With so much going on with hunting, I rather be in the fields, I can't wait for some rain. I do have to get you guys some pictures...hang on, I'll get "aroundtoit" asap!!
Happy hunting to you & me!
