Looks like a good start to me.:icon_thumright:

A good day. What is the triangular (hematite looking) stone?

I’m not sure? I was thinking Catlinite but I’d not thought about hematite? I’m not sure what it was it is but it’s not natural.

Is it possible someone was considering making a tool and the marks are tentative attempts?
My sister in Garden City, Kansas wanted to show me an area where pounts were easy to find. Unfortunately I never got out there.
One day she found a broken piece at one end if a field and when she showed it to her friend, he had found a broken piece at the other end. The two pieces fit together perfectly :)
