Finally Friday was the day we could do a proper hunt. It was a much cooler day with a wind & the ground hadn't dried out yet. The only issue was Cru'dad woke up with his old knee injury playing up. He soldiered on with just x2 30 minute breaks (plus 10 minutes for Lunch) whilst I completed a 6.5 hour day/hunt.
The results were good (best this year for bronze), but the Roman Silver still remained elusive. We have only had 1, when the ratio should have been 3 by now.
51 Roman Bronze Coins
Lead Token
Medieval Spur Rowel
Broken Tudor Clothes Fastener
Tudor Buckle
Medieval Purse Bar bit..
Roman Child's Bracelet bit
Norman Hunting Dog Swivel (broken half)
Roman Lion Head Casket Leg (A first)
3 Hammered - Lizzy Halfgroat, Ed I Penny, Cut halfpenny of Henry III
