Jumped around to 2 cellar holes today with my buddy recovering from surgery we detected just off the road in so called " hunted out " spots. Lol. Being lazy I hunted with the ATPro because I didn't feel like changing the coil's on the T2se. Both of my recoveries were made under rocks. The Half Penny Token was not even an inch buried I removed a rock checked the signal again the VDI reading 90!! I was excited I didn't know what I had at first never seen one before. The Capped Bust 1/2 is the oldest silver I've found and only my third half dollar. It also was next to rocks but a good 8 " deep. It was collective a good hunt with everybody recovering good targets.

Yep, those are KILLER finds my friend.

You'd be getting a lot more replies if capped bust half wasn't buried in the subject. Or is the first item something that deserves to come first? The cbh is a beauty...only a two year type iirc, and really the most attainable as the 1836 reeded edge costs a few bucks

Congrats!

Just posted them in the order I found them. I thought Wellington was Washington for quick moment and real excited all that faded when I turned it over and read half penny token.

Awesome coin! What a beauty!

Awesome, keep hunting that spot!!!!
