I went to the field where I found the big silver ring yesterday. I hunted about 3 hours. I found a small "bow-tie" silver ring ("Avery STER") within the first 20 minutes. Nothing else was coming up except coins. I was thinking of leaving but went for another pass. I got a jumpy signal that was jumping above and below 80...it was close to the surface. I used my probe and, sure enough, it could be dug with my coin popper. I pulled up part of it and realized that it was a silver bracelet...I began gingerly extricating it from its tomb and it kept coming, and coming...I had a silver necklace. I looked closer and realized that there were shiny things in it...diamonds! Not sure if they're real yet. It is 24" long, weighs 50 grams, has 40 links, every other link has 4 diamonds...so 80 diamonds! I did a little jig and called it a day. It's been a great weekend. Take care and thanks for looking!
