Field find...please ID this relic

Found this iron relic yesterday while field hunting where a home once stood. It was partially exposed, otherwise i would not have dug for it when i got the big null signal. Looks like it took a number of hits from the plow over the years. What is it??
This home site is marked on the 1874 atlas. Not much else was found..unfortunately i was limited on coil sweep because of the foot tall corn stalks...i'll be back.

I believe it's the grinding part of an old coffee grinder. Not sure what that part would be named ??
