Field Find....Any Idea's

Found this yesterday in one of my farm field's that I hunt.The ring's are 4" in dia. and the link's are 3" long.I have no clue! Thank's for looking and HH!!

Looks like part of a horse harness spreader.

I believe it is a drag chain from a grain drill. Covers up the seed after they drop in the furrow. They were always coming off.

maybe a trappers tie down line so the trap doesnt get hailed off by the critter
