Damn. You're finding more arrowheads not hunting arrowheads than those of us who do hunt arrowheads! Nice finds there. How about some close ups of that eggstone at the bottom of the picture? Is it flat or dimpled on the bottom?
Great looking collection there. Looks right as rain for Northern Alabama from all of that Ft Payne chert and the types you've found. You've got a nice range of relics there, one of the tools looks to be paleo (so 10,000+ years old) all the way up to mound builder stuff made just before Europeans showed up.
The egg stone looks to have the little flat spot, so probably a bola stone. I see a nice pine tree and Benton points, both Archaic. A decent Copena as well. The nicest point in the center, probably same age as an Afton point, but doesn't quite look right and might be a bit outside of the classic range for that type. A 'Bama collector would probably have a better name for that type.
thank you for all the info. i have not even tried to learn the different types or age i basically hot glued them to that frame. i do appreciate all input and i have gave several away really not knowing anything about them
