I started to go door knocking Saturday ,but then decided I would venture back to the battle site me and DHD hit sometimes although the finds are tough to find they are there . Its about 20 acres of field and so far we have hit about half of it . There is one spot in the field about 200 yards from where I scored the U.S buckle that was once wooded and seems to be a small camp area as the troops where at that spot for a few days prior to the fighting . I started off at the fence line and scored a round ball ,then started doing a little griding working my way out into the field hit a few more round balls and a nice dropped .58 gardner ,then some camp lead , a fired pistol shot and then a brass peice and a rivet ,not sure what the brass piece is it measure's 1 inch long and 5/8 of a inch around so if anyone knows what it is please feel free to chime in ! Thanks for looking !

Nice finds Matt. Could the brass piece be from the end of a muzzle loading shotgun ramrod? You are still finding good relics. ANY late Spring or Summer relics are a plus. HH, Quindy.

Nice recoveries.. beautiful 2-ringer
