Few hours out produced buttons

Got a few hours in swinging in the late afternoon.
Got a Tomback cuff in the first few minutes. (Ended up with 3 cuffs.)

Then decided to walk back to the car and get the bug suit on.
Between the black and deer flies it wasn't pleasant.
(Ticks are alive and well also)

The site woke up a bit and produced 8 buttons.
Happy with Dandy and the 49th Regiment

I see that the 49th has a long history and was active in the War of 1812. The buttons look consistent with this period. Are there any other clues from the site to indicate whether it was an old household, a fort site or whatever?

A house with 3 Lime kilns for a business.
Found one other military pewter.
Regiment out of Newfoundland a historian said.
