Those Richmond test labs bullets are Hard bullets to find. I only have a single example in my whole collection of 20 years, and I lived in VA for a long time.

Ok your definition of a few seems to be a little different than mine! I do not think I have ever found one of those bullets. What is the story on them if I may ask? Nice "bunch" of relics.

The Richmond labs are the CS version of the 52 cal. sharps carbine. From what I know and may be wrong but the CS had a similar version of the sharps rifle and used these rounds and also the used battle field pick up’s of union carbines and made the lab for use in them.
