Welcome to Tnet.

The second item was easy for me since I live in Surrey in the UK. It’s an East Surrey regiment cap badge. The regiment existed from 1881-1959 but your badge has the Tudor crown which puts it between 1902-1953. It could be either WWI or WWII.

The Maltese cross item looks like some kind of non-military or quasi-military award (the kind of thing given in marksmanship contests and such), or perhaps masonic-related, or possibly just a pendant. Nevertheless, I can see hallmarks for Birmingham sterling silver and a maker mark (ringed below):

Could we please have some nice sharp pictures of those? The date letter appears to be an ‘F’ but it’s difficult to be sure what font style. It looks like a serifed capital ‘F’, which would be for 1930 but the sideways anchor for Birmingham would be more consistent with 1880, which would be a fancy gothic lower case ‘f’. The 1880 date would also be more consistent with who I believe the maker to be, which looks like ‘J.C’ with a stop between the letters. Again, difficult to be sure without a better picture.
