Several weeks ago stevemc and I went to check out an old ferry boat landing. It was in use in the 1890's. Found several items that I am not sure what they are.
The first looks like a lead, 1 lb, sounding weight. It is 2" accross th top.
The next is a couple of brass rings - not sure of their use.
Next is a yellow brass crudely forged and looks like a bell?

Any ideas on them is appreciated
Jonnie

The second items look to be from some kind of brass swivels.

I'm thinking the two round items might be rope guides for the ferry boat.
