Hi all,

Bought a metal detector back in 2006 but hardly got to use it before it was swiped, so I'm looking to give it another whirl now that I live on the beach on the Atlantic Ocean (NE Florida).

Flash-forward to the year 2014: First step will be re-learning what a good starter detector might be a good fit for me these days and next I will try to glean some advice from all of you experts.
