Fees to order or dump.

Just curious and not judgmental.

How many of you guys are paying fees to order coin or dump?
I don't do it myself, but then I have plenty of banks to choose from.

nope, no fees-- i can order as many half dollar boxes as I want from my 1 bank for no fees as long as I purchase them and not return them!

ya same here my main supply has never griefed me about ordering. One of the smaller branches has cut back, but thats it so far. I've got the main supply and like 5-6 smaller locations i pick up from weekly as well.

One BofA near my house tries to charge $5 per bag so I don't dump there, but I swing in once a week to get coin vault bags from them

And then once on a business trip i got 2 boxes of halves and was charged 5 dollars per bag to dump and had no choice...wasn't about to take 50 pounds of halves on the plane with me lol..

Sometimes i'll just take the hit and dump massive amounts of pennies into the coinstar. I just don't have the patience to roll all those pennies back up. I don't usually lose more than a few bucks.

Tommorow will be the 3rd week of paying $7.50 per box at one bank(Wells Fargo). I've received some decent boxes from there in the past and didn't want to give them up. So far i'm breaking even with the silver i'm finding.

Has anyone ever had a bank that they don't have an account with order them boxes? Or does anyone ever dump coins at banks they don't belong too?

Account needed to dump (Good Old What's in your Wallet Bank)
Capital One said no fees for account holders. When I dumped 10 boxes,they freaked out and said "Our counters are designed for Piggy Banks only"

That's too bad, did you close that account? I'm trying to drive from Canada to buffalo to search some halves, but not a single bank will order for me... .

I'm not even sure what I would do with a few thousand in coins that I can't use in Canada.. Lol

was tempted to pay that fee... as finds were good one week, but one week i only got 4x 40% from 4 boxes so i thought i could actually lose money... but said can't be bothered! but that i guess is the rate, as they tried to get 30 bucks for 4 boxes from me

I started buying boxes at a bank that I was not a member of. No fees.

... Then they said I have to get an acct..

... Then they said I have to pay $3+tax/box..

I am doing pretty well with them so the fees aren't bad at all. Except this week was pretty crappy.
