not a US cent, roasted like a Butterball, medallion has Indian with a hatchet, other side is ???. coin is 7.6 grams at 1 3/32", medal is 9 grams at 1 1/4". all opinions welcome :dontknow::dontknow: IMG_2785.JPGIMG_2786.JPGIMG_2787.JPGIMG_2788.JPG 2 more bird bands :laughing7:and a state quarter :BangHead: rain today, back for more Tues.

Who knows it could be a fur trade item from 1700 or 1800's.
 

The reverse of your medallion is another Native American Brave with feathers in his headdress next to a piece of wampum. (In my most humble, uneducated, layman's opinion...) That is a very cool relic and possibly a fur trade item, or peace medallion, congrats! Sub 8-)

MYSTERY SOLVED by DCMATT after posting in "what is it"? the medallion is Improved Order of Red Men watch fob, circa post 1834. a pre- Rev. War fraternal organization promoting patriotism.
