Hello, I found this today in an old farm field.

It was the depth of my garrett pointer. Just wondering if anyone might be able to ID it????

At first I thought silver but it almost looks like stainless. Thanks for any help everyone!

Without seeing the obverse, looks like an old drawer pull. :skullflag:

SNM is legible. Looks the the fleur-de-lis symbol too.

It looks like silver over pewter. I am not real sure what it is, but I don't think its a drawer pull. I'm thinking more on the line of table necessities like the base to a salt shaker, etc. I ran across the mention of a set of "Salt Pepper Shakers Cloisonné Fish Marked 925 SNM" so maybe SNM is a silver mark or makers mark.

Kinda looks like the top portion of a squeeze tube....like toothpaste or glue.

I would say you have a Hair Tonic top.
I'm sorry, but I can't tell you what the SNM stands for.

It's also like that used on crown top perfume bottle... I was unaware that hair tonic used them too... good to know.
