scabbard tip 001.jpgscabbard tip 002.jpg , scabbard tip 003.jpg Just curious if this item could be a fancy scabbard tip or just a piece of fancy useless junk I have found.LOL . It first looked like a piece of old copper tubing until I cleaned it. Its roughly 3 inches long , copper or brass metal and has some sort of design that looks like a banner of chain links and stars. It is split down one side. Not sure if it was made that way or a piece of farm implement hit it . Thanks for any opinions and suggestions. Happy treasure hunting to all.

I wish I had an answer for you ....But
The Design is certainly Cool.

I'm always asking myself so can't say I can really answer.My boy's found 3 so far,here's one.

It's not the best pic but,it is right at 3" long. There doesn't seem to be any pattern or design on it.And I couldn't tell you if the very tip is solid or hollow.
