Got out for 3 short hunts in Savannah, GA and dug some colonial and civil war period items. Find of the week for me was the broken colonial ring with green stones.

How old do you think the ring is?

It's construction & look (with the paste/glass stones) reminds me of the 1690-1720 cuff-links. That would be an early ring! (not very sure though, rings are not my thing)

This site goes way back. 1680s Spanish cobs have been dug there. But I am no jewelry expert either? Maybe someone will be able to shed more light on it?

Thanks

Very nice finds! That ring is very nice! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: I'm really liking the watch winder and the button.

The ring is identical to trade rings I find on my 1750-1820 Indian Fur Trade sites.............Nice finds!

The saying goes β€œeverything is better in Metter”. Yeah, I have been there. They are very nice.
