Just saw this poem that is supposed to identify where a cache of jewels is hidden. They belonged to a wealthy New England family from the late 18th century. I don't have any idea if it's true or not, but here it is:

The Madonnas rest high above,
The Lion's head watches the dove.
And in the womb beneath the hill,
The secret flame glows bright and still.

Rumor has it that there is a lot of danger involved, as this family suffered many misfortunes following the American Revolution.

Good luck.

Movie version...
The Madonnas rest high above The Lion’s head watches the dove And in the womb beneath the hill A blazing light glows bright and still.

Novel version...

The three Graces spin – high above The lion’s head looks down at the dove And in the womb beneath the hill The secret fire glows bright and still

Oh... and I understood it was Collins Family in Maine.

The three graces are Greek...
St. Anne Trinity is something else. With two Maine churches named similar. One Native orientated at one time.(?) Did a /"the" Collins family frequent one?

Monuments? Architecture? Stained glass windows?
Or a Ruben painting?

Are you talking about the BARNABAS COLLINS family of Maine?

House of Dark Shadows (1970)

John Karlen: Willie Loomis

It originated from the original novel series... "Barnabas Collins - Dark Shadows"

And originally was written... errr um... chapter 11...

"“No, wait!” Willie urged. “Look at this! Look!” And he
took out a very ancient looking piece of paper. He con¬
tinued eagerly, “I found this in an old book. It’s where
the missing jewels are!”

“Oh, please, Willie!” she protested.

He peered at her with bright-eyed madness. “No, I
swear, please listen!” And then he began to read: “The
three Graces spin—high above. The Lion’s Head looks
down at the dove. And in the womb beneath the hill,
The secret fire glows bright and still.” As he finished he
looked up at her again with loutish delight.

Like I said, there could be a lot of danger involved retrieving the cache. If you proceed, don't say I didn't warn you...

So if I try to retrieve the cache I may wind up getting bricked up in a wall?
