Yeah, it is great. Fall and Spring are my two favorite seasons. The only problem I have is with the hunters. My site is on a public hunting ground. Bow season started today. I'll be wearing blaze orange for the rest of the season. Fortunately I'm pretty well out in the open.

Was gonna say the same thing...remember the orange! I do love detecting in the fall though.

Oh yeah,Fall would be nice ,but it's gonna be 102 degrees on sunday with some strong winds. :help:

Yep, I love fall and it's cooler temps and changing colors, now if we would only get some decent rain so we could dig the targets. Rain to the north of us and to the south of us, but here in central Illinois all we have is super hard ground and dust. Rick :coffee2:

fall is nice to detect, but right now it's 80 degrees, so the hooded sweatshirt is going to have to wait a while

I mainly CW relic hunt, and as a woods hunter, the fall and winter is the only time I can get out. Too many critters and too much vegetation any other time of the year. Come on Fall!!! :headbang: :headbang:

I've been waiting on Fall/Winter allllll summer! :icon_pirat:

Yes fall and spring is my best time to land detect. When it gets hot and the ground get hard I switch to beach and water detecting. It is getting to be a great time to land detect.....Matt

Sorry..haha...I forgot about our Southern friends. It's in the mid to high 50's here, nice and cool.

You can't beat fall for detecting! It's my favorite time of year.

It's definately my time. Early spring and early fall are the only slow times at work, sometimes....but health wise, the cooler temps definately invigorate me.

Fall and even winter, I love when the weeds die, the humidity goes away, and the Mosquitos go back to the hell they came from. I've even hunted when it was 13 degrees outside and dropped to 8.

Yea,we cant until the rains come....ground is way too hard and the chance of ruining a good find chipping dirt is not worth it!!
