All types of BFOs owned. Especially want White's Arrow; White's Oremaster; Exanimo Spartan Little Monster; Garrett contract Little Monster.
On Saturday I bought a small lot of silver coins and rounds at an estate sale. One silver eagle was made of steel. It is very deceptive but attracts a magnet. The date was the first clue as it read 1906. I didn't get to examine them closely and I got them at a good price so this will become part of my counterfeit collection. exanimo, siegfried schlagrule

The coin dealers in Nevada are coming up with all kinds of varyations of those. They think that they are coming out of Mexico. I have seen walking libertys, seated libertys,Washinton Quarters, and a 8 reale. Some are not steel they think they are silver plated zinc. The dates are never right. So if you know your coins you will find the fakes.

Take Care,Matt

Many coming from China also, I just had a chinese guy contact me... wanted to know if I wanted to buy some coins he just got done making and that they were near perfect replicas... I told him where to go.

That sucks SS. Hate to see you get the fake. Especially after being so cool and giving my daughter those wonderful Christmas presents. I posted the presents a few weeks ago. Many props to you man.

I finally have gotten out for a small amount of metal detecting with my family the last few days, but unfortunately it looks like it will be a while (perhaps a long while) before I will be able to get back into detecting seriously.

Out of coincedence to the accident I got into I got some testing from the VA because my hands have been swollen and I have not been able to use them much at all. According to the shock and needle test I have fairly strong carpel tunnel syndrome. I must admit my hands through the last few years have been hurting a bit and I have been dropping things. I always thought it was too much mechanicing in the Army all of those years, too much typing on computer work, and until 9 months ago too much ground pounding looking for coinage in my spare time.

Looks like all were correct and those bands of muscle in my wrist have finally locked up the nerve going in my hand. I am about 100% sure they will need surgery, but with the VA involved I have no idea when that will be. I would have atleast some type of idea, however the Phy Assist that made the appointments messed up the appointments 4 months ago. She didn't put anything in the consult so they would not see me until she corrects it. I have done everything I can to get in contact with her (just short of things to land me in jail), and she has not responded. Not even an official complaint has gotten a response. So I must wait another 3 months for the checkup with her to hopefully tell her she screwed up and try to get the new appointment with the hand specialist.

Nastly little wench also put Bi-polar with a ? behind it in her report to help mess up my PTSD claim. Or atleast I guess that is why. I have never showed any symptoms of mood swings at all. I do however show many sypmtoms of PTSD. I would say it was her stupidity, except the Mental Health have been doing medicines and treatments based on Bi-polar. I know they cannot be that dumb. And if you have been watching the news many returning soldiers from combat have been getting those claims turned down as personality disorders. Bi-polar is a personality disorder. See where it's going SS.

Fight for your country and have your own VA there supposedly to serve us since we served our country is hanging out to cut out our throats.

Good to see you posting those SS. Haven't seen one of your posts in a long time. Sorry it was to tell us about getting scamming. Atleast it sounds like you got a collection of other coins in this estate sell. Hopefully you got a good deal, and a great deal of other coins.

Hello Postal, 13 ounces of 90% coins and 999 rounds for $100. Take away the bogus one and that still leaves 12 ounces at $100. Sorry to hear that Uncle Sugar and the VA have been giving you the run around. When i finally decided to ask for hearing aids they first tried to say that it wasn't a documented injury. It was. then they tried to say it wasn't from combat but i reported it in vietnam. Finally they said they didn't know why i wanted them to pay for my hearing aids because they were paying me money. That's when I requested a disability pension. They went back two years when i finally got it and I get a little tax free money every month. I had been eligible for a disability pension for 28 years but I was supposed to know that without being told by anyone. It took nine months before i started getting the pension then three months later i finally got my hearing aids. The final tests showed me 90% gone on the left and half gone on the right. I don't get disability for that because they can fix it with hearing aids. I get disability for the tinitus but wouldn't get a cent if I had not reported it while I was on active duty. Before you let them slice you and dice you for carpal tunnel check into chiropractors and accupuncture first. those may not help but what they do won't disable you if it doesn't work. Successful carpal tunnel surgery is usually successful because you quit doing what caused the problem in the first place. If you have the surgery and go back to what you were doing before many folks suffer a relapse that is worse than the original problem.
When you are dealing with the VA go through the county service officer at the county court house. He is paid to help veterans. You can also try the guy at the local VFW who helps vets.
I'm on almost daily. Best regards and great good luck, siegfried schlagrule

Nice going at that Estate sale. 12oz for 100 bucks, never go wrong there. Sorry to hear about all the trouble you and Doug are having with the VA. I think they get a bonus for how many GI's they can turn away. It's like I have my job, screw you........ Are you both Viet Vets? HH to you both
