Fake or real Nickel?

hello fellow hunters! I could use some advice on this one. My concern is that it has been tampered with. looks fine to me, only 'fake' nickel I know of is the henson nickel and this is not one of them..... just worn out date dawg, not a big deal.

EDIT: henning not henson.

Yeah, since its not a key day or AG I would find it hard to believe someone would take the trouble to counterfeit a nickle. My vote is its just an odd coin.
 

I find quite a lot of similar coins. Seems like a lot of 2005 nickels have light to no dates. Grease filled die I guess.
