Fake gold coin on chain

Anyone know what this is? It's not gold (too light) and the back says something about PA woman's group Any info on this strange piece is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No, it's almost identical the front and bezel are exactly the same but the back of myn is different. I have had it for years just laying around not ever really knowing the story behind it.

Perhaps something made for a convention or award they had during the American bicentennial year - 1976??

EDIT: I found this little snippet in a newspaper article about the PFWC bicentennial year preparations.
