Fair price for 'scrap' gold

What is a 'fair' per oz. price for 10k and 14k scrap gold? Is there a ratio relative to current 'spot' price for gold.

a refiner will pay you @90% of the value of the gold, they don't pay for the base metals. research refiners and their pay out schedule. pic a reputable refiner for processing. pure gold is 24k.

I pay a good bit above dealers but if you want to get the most bang for your buck, find a refinery. Anyone who offers you 60% of scrap value is highway robbery
