I managed a few good sales this weekend. I bought a bunch of stuff including 5 grams of gold in a bunch of "junk" jewelry and a West Va. Glass Co. red Blendo pitcher and 6 glasses. I didn't take a photo of it but I did take a couple of a few other things I found. The Faberge picture frame cost me $3, the 105 gram sterling necklace cost me $20 and the Higgins Creamery sign was $1. Also found a WW1 medal of some sort. I have no idea of value but I will post a link to it when I post it in the What is it forum. Here's the pics of these few items-

That butter sign is tops! Can't beat it for $1.
That's my favorite find of the week. I found an interesting article in the Milwaukee Journal from 1972 (Creamery Survives Urban Sprawl) about it being a "one-man" operation. Says it was founded before the turn of the century. I also found only one example of it that has sold recently. It went for $45 at an auction house in Oregon last March. No pic but here's the link-

And here is the newspaper article- The Milwaukee Journal - Google News Archive Search

Interesting stuff.

WOW!! I was floored by finding anything by Faberge! And this hits just kept on rolling for you! Congrats!!! :D :D :D
Thanks and welcome to Tnet! I'm lucky to live where I do when it comes to garage and estate sales. I passed on a Faberge egg not too long ago. Lady wanted $75 for it. I'm not that well versed in them. Figured I couldn't go wrong for $3 on this piece though.
