Both the F5 and F75 in four tone mode digging the foil signals for gold at parks and ballfields, any appreciable difference between the two on small gold rings and chains? That is, enough of a difference to justify paying the higher price for a F75?

Oh, and how about the difference between the tones. Does one model have better tone distinction over the other?

Thanks in advance for your input. I am more familiar with minelabs and whites machines but am interested in giving fishers a try.

I don't see allot of difference in tones. Just mainly depth. F75 is hotter on small targets.

I use a F 5, and sure I would trade it for an F 75 any day!
I just can't afford the 75. But the F 5 is all I need for the money and for what I do!
My machine gives me enough to work with it, other than spending another $600-700.
I am a hobbyist and you have to know your limit on what you can afford.
I am learning that my F5 is the best for me with no regrets.
$500 was a great investment.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have decided to give the F5 a try. Will see how it goes. The multi-tone feature really appeals to me.
