Just got my f2 I tried it out in the front yard and all it does is chatter . Changed batteries check coil connection but nothing fixes the issue . Took it to the beach today to see if a place with no electronics would resolve the issue but still doing the same thing . Tried low sensitivity and discrimination and I am out of ideas . Anyone know something to try ? I live about 20 min from Kelly co where I bought it was thinking about stopping in tomorrow and see what they say

Well since you took it away from your house to the beach, I'll bet you didn't try it with your cell phone turned off. By all means return it to Kellyco for another which you should test before walking away.

the f2 is a good starter machine maybe u just got a bad one dont give up on it alot of ppl speak highly of that one

You must have gotten a bad machine I got a new f2 to last week and has been working great. I found two presidential dollar at a school by my house yesterday.

Try pin point mode if u are getting numbers either u have buried lines or alot of emi

Turn your sensitivity down. You might have underground power lines. Mine does the same thing from time to time. The Sensitivity goes as high a 5 (but it starts out on 4). If it does it for me I just put my F2 to 3 or 2 and it works fine.
