Found this at a F&I site that could possibly also have Rev war era stuff but that has not been confirmed. I posted this along with other stuff from the same spot on the fur trade era forum. I have been looking for some information and match but to no avail. From what I'm to gather is it would be from an officers pistol but I'm guessing 1700-50's but I'm hoping someone will be able to narrow that down for me. 20201227_174845.webp20201230_221456.webp20201230_221548.webp20201230_221456.webp

Good luck digging this year and have a happy new year

I'd say the F&I period is correct. 1750's or so. Probably to a personal weapon so there is little likelihood you could match it to something. And it looks to me like the musket ball, farthest to the right, top has been carved into a skull.

Its been carved on but its just the way the picture came out. I had to run to the case and check lol.

The Crown over monogram GR (Georgius Rex) narrows it to the Georgian period, just need to match the Crown type to which of the 4 Georges it is. Although I'm sure that gun furniture style can be narrowed as well. Good chance of getting at least a date range.
