Eyeball find

Even when I am not detecting I am always looking for something to catch my eye on the ground. Today I was near the shore and spotted something shinny sticking out of the ground reflecting the sun. It's only modern and probably worthless but a find is a find. Especially when it's a eyeball find and at work! Haha

Ever since I started detecting I find myself always looking at the ground, searching. I have found a few pennies thus far, and TONS of trash. I never realized just how much trash we have left behind until I started detecting.

Another eye find was at a beach at low tide. I was working around a week ago but had to wait around so I walked the beach at low tide and saw pottery shards and glass. I had nothing better to do so I walked looking around and spotted this button. It's mother of pearl button and fairly old I believe.

I am always looking at the ground wherever i am walking. You just never know. Looks cool.
