I was cruising Ebay today, and noticed a ton of detectors from a company named Seben, in Germany. They look relatively cheaply made, so I'm curious if anyone has any experience with them?

I was looking at a super cheap 2nd detector for me, considering buying another Prizm II like i did for the ol' ball and chain. If anyone has any suggestions for a decent coinshooter, I'm all ears.

Garrett ACE 250 is about $199.00 from Kellyco. I think it's worth every penny.... Great for coins

Took a little while to find the sweet spot with pinpointing. I hear they all seem to vary just a little....

Thanks Kermit, I've read the reviews and heard alot of good things from Garret owners, its way up on the list of cheaper models.

I bought a Prizm II for my wife, and upgraded the coil. I got it at the beginning of the month, and had a coupon for $50 off. Its a pretty solid machine, but I wanted to try a brand I haven't used, which leaves Garretts and Teseros, and all the off-name stuff. I've been trying to get the opinion of others here on all the off-brand stuff, because I know alot of people with both Garretts and Teseros, and I kow they are solid, but I want a cheap project/toy to coinshoot with. I'm still leaning on the Ace though. Its a good deal at $200, and I know it works. I'll just wait on my project for a while I suppose.
