I have a Quattro. I have no issues with this machine. Took me a while to get used to, which was my fault as it was my first machine ever. It came with the 10.5 inch coil which is great, but i have been hitting some trashy areas lately and was wondering about this 6 inch coil. The 10.5 inch coil goes pretty deep, on the beach its amazing. Has anyone had any experience with the 6 inch coils?

For trashy areas a 6" coil is good but get a super sniper coil from Minelab is even better. The after market excellerator coil isn't living up to its claims.

I firmly believe, that you can do the exact same thing with the stock coil as you will with that 6inch.

I bought a 5.5 Sun-ray last year and have used it 3 times.
I swear, if I make a buck around here, it's sheer luck. :D

But it's the truth.

The only coil I advise my clients to buy is a larger coil, ONLY if they are field hunting. Not for depth, but to cover more ground quickly to locate the spot that holds the relics . When located, I tell them to change coils back to stock coil and slow down. I am just not a fan of those small coils.
