excalibur 1000, c-scope,laser b2
took my new excalibur 1000 to the beach for the first time, and got a signal from under a 1.5 ft wide boulder, and under it was some copper sheathing, the next boulder was a piece of iron, surrounded by coins, some embedded in it,very pleased with this machines performances, even got some silver dollars ans pieces of eight, very worn off one beach in 2 hours detecting, unsure about the hollow tube?

Your finds look good! I guess digging isn't easy amongst all these rocks especially with this detectors depth. Doesn't the loose coil cable cause your Excal to false? Mine would drive me crazy like this. But I'm not very experienced with my Excalibur 1000 yet.
