Excalibur II

Depends on condition of excal and maintenance, have the O-rings been changed in last couple years, are knobs easy or hard to turn, are cables in good condition or are cables dried out. Is it Excal Sword, Excal 1000 or Excal II? If in good condition then $700-$900 depending on age, model and condition

Thanks again for selling me the Excalibur II Penzfan!
I will contact detector center next week and have some mods done to it. Since I already have grey ghost phones for CTX, the CTX phones mod looks good and this way I can buy a larger coil and pay them to add the inline disconnect set for stock and Nel coil. Also will get another rechargeable battery pack. I have a feeling this is going to be the main machine I will be using while wading in the water. I should have gotten an excal a long time ago.

I'm not sure if I would go with the inline connector for changing coils, if it was wet/drysand no problem but I'm not sure about use in the saltwater. Maybe someone can chime in on that.

Over the years I did try several, never had any luck with the inline, and that includes the Coiltech one. I did finally make up one that worked very good that was made into the endcap.. but I found the best setup was hard wired for me.

Maybe someone else has there setup, with the inline connector for changing coils and can give feed back.... Now the CTX / headphone one works beautiful.

Congrads on the Excalibur..

Here is a excal FB page also..

I did a couple of the inlines but stopped, they had a tendency to leak and cause problems, started going directly to the mother boards.

I just got my Excalibur II back from the Detector repair center and they did a great geat job installing the inline coil quick connector so I can. Swap out coils. The thing I want to do is install some type of waterproof casing around the coil connector. Anyone have any experience doing this?
I found a waterproof casing for them online But need to look at different methods. Here is a pic of the Excalibur II with the Nel Superfly coil w/ quick connector & the stock 10in coil with the waterproof inline quick connect. Then I need to find Tony Eisenhower and see if he can make an extension for the headphones:
