The top piece just looks like a piece of copper tubing with the end crimped/flattened. They used to do that to seal it, before plastic caps became they way.

Can't help you on the bottom one.
Edit- I'll take a SWAG at it.....lamp part???

The top one could be a home made pipe.bottom some kind of socket that held together with a steel cable??Just a guess.

That bottom piece looks similar to a throttle linkage. The threaded end gets screwed to the arm from the carb and the cable has a little "L" to slip in the end and stick out the hole for easy replacement.
But..copper? never heard of it.

The bottom object appears to be the tapered spindle of an old brass valve. The handle would screw into the thread in the "ball", and the screw on the bottom would pull the taper down into the valve body to make it seal. Many of these type valves have a spring between the screw and spindle to allow the spindle to turn, yet keep the seal.

It may be from a gas valve, as this type valve does not lend itself well to be used for liquid.

If all is as I have marked, then , more than likely it is what I have indicated. IMHO

Hello, there is no hole going threw the middle, the screw only goes in about 1/4 and stops, the slot is just in the middle there is no hole going threw the sides at all in the slot, surely to big for carburetor, i was on the chat a few nights ago and had about 8 people trying to find out what it is, and they all guessed different , 2nd time someone guessed linkage though, maybe a linkage, also this is one solid piece besides the screw that comes out, threaded on the the ball end

Looks a lot like one of the old gas light valves that I have found. The slot is where the gas goes through when turned inside the housing. The handle (missing) would go into the threaded opening. The other item pictured is probably a piece of copper tubing for the gas line. If not a gas light valve I would say that is surely a valve stem of some type...lantern, stove, heater etc.
