digging a parcel in ST. REMY, NY yesterday. no clad, pulltabs or cans but a .22 casing every 6 inches. then I get a bouncy hit on the 250, penny, iron, penny low, so----- I drop down, start digging, scan the hole and it's gone. then I wave the mound and it's IMG_0976.JPGIMG_0977.JPGthere. not a frying pan handle, but I see 2 points of a shiny star. HOLY CRAP, 6 inches down, A FREAKIN' TRIME

Well ok.... but what do they say about that 3 cent silver!

A Trime is better than none.

Very nice coin. Congrats on the lil silver!

sweet trime!!

Very nice Ace! Perhaps you will take pity on me and my friend when we come up this fall and take us to a nice site. Neither of us have dug a coin older then the 1930s. So we're coming up there for the chance. I am working with a friend of mine and MIGHT be able to get permission to detect a field where Colonial soldiers camped back in 1771. If I do I'll certainly invite you along.

Nice find, I want one of those!

Real sweet.I dug my only one last year and it read below IH.I only dug it because I was in a little area that was spitting up a lot of oldies and I was digging almost all signals.

Awesome! Learn something new everyday. Didn't even know they existed!! Can't wait to find mine. Here's hopin'

They are beautiful little silvers. Congrats on your find!
